Highlights

o        Participated in the design and development of the original EIES email and groupware system (Fortran , Pascal, Basic and Assembly Language).

o        Responsible for management of research assistants and student employees, as well as the evaluation and recommendation of computer and communications equipment.

o        Projects included design and development of the Interact interface language; Fortran compile postprocessor; the EIES text editor; a network database management system; groupware user interfaces for information exchange; text processing; indexing; searching; computer mediated instruction; information filtering; project management and controlled experimentation in group systems, human factors, usability and group decision aids.

o        Taught (adjunct) graduate and undergraduate courses, and faculty/student seminars. Topics included Interact, Basic, string languages, BAL, hobby microcomputers, Computer Mediated Communications, entropy reduction and artificial intelligence.
